SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.

SASSA might be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it truly is alarmed concerning the higher number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to read more access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The services point made for intervention encounters a high influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tough with the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to permit the servicing of all customers and raise access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
